Personalised university guidance for internationally minded families - without the stress.

Welcome to CoCo

CoCo came about from a desire to work intensively with young people and their families and turn the academic journey into something meaningful, enjoyable and purposeful.

Having worked as a High School and University Counsellor in three top-tier international schools in the UK, Hong Kong and Switzerland, as well as having a background in selective international university admissions at the University of Bristol, I came up with CoCo as a way to serve families better and help remove the pressure and stress that has become synonymous with university applications. Being from a dual-nationality family and having lived and worked in 8 different countries allows me to really understand and support young people who are on an international education journey. I obtained my College Counselling qualification from Columbia University in New York and saw firsthand from the admissions teams both there and at NYU how to stand out in selective admissions processes. Networking is my speciality, and I am connected with Admissions Deans and Professors from some of the best universities around the world, enabling me to help you achieve your goals.

It can be hard as an international family to know what is best for your child when they are often in different education systems than you were, and looking at applying to universities in countries that you have perhaps never even been to! With a wealth of experience across different curricula and countries, I can provide impartial advice about what might suit your child best and how to give them the strongest chance possible to thrive on their educational journey.

We can meet in person in my office in Cham or online at your convenience. I am here to help open your eyes to the vast array of options available while keeping as many doors open as possible for the future.

Please complete the form below for a free 15-minute consultation about how I might be able to support you - helping young people is my passion, and I am thrilled to be able to do this work.

Why CoCo?

CoCo came out of a conversation with a friend about how to name my future business. CoCo is an abbreviation/combination of a few different things that I do in my work, “College”, “Counselling” “Collaborating” and “Coaching” - it also happens that I live in the land of chocolate, Switzerland, and love all things cosy, so it felt like the perfect fit.
